N scale (1:160) – The “N” is short for nine, which refers to the 9mm gauge of the N scale rail tracks. With a wide range of options, the N scale model train is ideal for constructing a larger landscape without taking up a lot of space.

Our headquarters and expansive primary layout are located in a military Quonset hut (affectionately known as the “Q“) in the Southern New Mexico State Fairgrounds, Las Cruces, NM 88004. Note our exact location on the satellite image of the fairgrounds below. When we are there, the West gate of the fairgrounds is usually open.

Be sure to join us for “Run Day” on the third Saturday of each month from 10:30am to 2:00pm. Visitors are always welcome. You can also check the SNMNS Events Calendar for other times we will be at the clubhouse (working on the layout).
